Firefighters have stabilized the forest vegetation fire at Salòria peak, in Os de Civís (Alt Urgell), where they have been working since early afternoon.

Firefighters have managed to stabilize the forest vegetation fire that broke out at Salòria peak, located in Os de Civís, in the Alt Urgell. The fire, which they have been working to extinguish since 1:30 PM, is situated at over 2,000 meters in altitude, making access for ground crews impossible.
For this reason, three helicopters from the Andorran Fire Department were mobilized to transport personnel from both this service and the Bombers de la Generalitat to the affected area. These helitransported teams are now working with manual tools and aerial resources to combat the flames directly at the fire's location.
In addition to the aerial resources and deployed ground crews, two additional aerial units have been used to fight the fire. The firefighters have reported that the flames are affecting vegetation on a steep slope.
