The Mayor of La Seu d'Urgell, Joan Barrera, carried out a site visit this Monday to the new INEFC Pirineus building, located in l'Horta del Valira. He was accompanied by technical representatives and project managers to learn firsthand about the status of the project's execution.
“"for the educational, sports, and economic future of the city and the entire Alt Pirineu region"
During the inspection, Barrera confirmed that the works are advancing according to the established timeline. This new facility will provide INEFC Pirineus with modern and functional installations, adapted to the needs of teaching, research, and specialized training in physical activity and sports.
“"this project is a strategic commitment for the city and the territory, generating opportunities, attracting young talent, and contributing to diversifying the local economy"
The consolidation of INEFC Pirineus reinforces La Seu d'Urgell's position as a reference university hub in the Pyrenees. With this initiative, the City Council aims to continue promoting quality facilities and transformative projects that solidify the city as a capital of services, knowledge, and innovation.
