Sports entities in La Seu d'Urgell can now apply for grants to finance their operating expenses until September 25. The call for applications, with a budget of 10,000 euros, aims to support the activity of local clubs.

From today until September 25, sports clubs and entities in La Seu d'Urgell have an open period to submit their applications for grants aimed at financing operating expenses. These grants are endowed with a budget of 10,000 euros.
Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the electronic headquarters of the La Seu City Council, using the corresponding standardized forms. The maximum period for resolving the call for applications will be three months from the day after the submission period ends.
The call for applications, approved by the Municipal Plenary on June 1, 2026, aims to contribute to the financing of the current and ordinary operating expenses of the city's sports entities during the year 2026.
Sports clubs whose purpose is the promotion of sports activity, are legally constituted and registered with the Registry of Sports Entities of the Generalitat de Catalunya, have their registered office and area of operation in La Seu d'Urgell, and meet the requirements established in the regulatory bases, can apply for these grants.
The subsidies will allow financing current expenses directly linked to the ordinary operation of the clubs during 2026, such as the purchase of non-inventoriable sports equipment, transport and travel expenses, federation and referee licenses, technical and professional staff expenses, and administrative, fiscal, or legal support expenses.
Applications will be evaluated according to sports criteria (number of licenses, percentage of school-age and female athletes), social criteria (actions for vulnerable groups, social inclusion, community collaboration), and local criteria (club seniority, use of municipal facilities). A minimum score of 25 points must be achieved to be eligible for the subsidy.
