Javi Padial from La Seu d'Urgell named Coach of the Year in Colorado

The Catalan coach receives the top honor from the Colorado Soccer Association.

The coach Javi Padial, from la Seu d'Urgell, has been honored as Coach of the Year in Colorado by the state's Soccer Association in Denver.

Padial led his team, Colorado Rush East, to the P2 Girls League championship this past autumn. The federation highlighted his outstanding achievement in coaching youth players and his ability to foster a passion for the game among U17 athletes.

Despite his success in the United States, Padial remains the CEO of Futbol Club Pirineus in Catalonia, a club he co-founded in 2019 to promote women's soccer in the Pyrenees region.
