Mossos d'Esquadra police arrested a 47-year-old man in Organyà for attempting to run over a young man with his car on Monday, February 2, following a heated argument.

The incident took place in the garden area of Organyà, in the Alt Urgell region. According to the investigation, the dispute began because the suspect had his dogs unleashed, which upset a couple walking three other dogs.
Following the initial confrontation, the man retrieved his vehicle and returned to the scene at high speed, intending to hit the young man. While the victim managed to jump off the path to avoid the impact, the car ran over the dogs, killing one and seriously injuring another.
The suspect appeared before the Seu d'Urgell Investigating Court last Thursday. He faces charges of attempted homicide, causing bodily harm, and animal cruelty.
