The Catalan Fire Department responded this Tuesday morning to a fire in a power line in Montferrer i Castellbò, which has resulted in power outages across several local communities.

The emergency call was received at 06:45 AM regarding an incident on Cal Molí street. Three fire crews spent three hours extinguishing the blaze, which started at a transition point between overhead and underground high-voltage lines.
The outage has impacted several areas within the Castellbò Valley, including the Sant Joan de l'Erm ski station. Utility companies have been notified to repair the damage and restore power, while the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
