Rescue teams responded on Saturday afternoon to save a motorcyclist who fell down a rocky slope along the C-462 road, in the Josa i Tuixent area. The alert was received around 2:26 PM.
Although the drop was significant, the man only rolled about ten meters over the rocks. Firefighters used a helicopter's winch to reach the injured individual.

Once rescued, the motorcyclist was transported by the Medical Emergency System (SEM) to the Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital in Lleida, where he was admitted in serious condition. A medicalized helicopter and an ambulance were deployed for the rescue operation.
