Open Days Scheduled at Educational Centers in La Seu d'Urgell

Urgell families can learn about the educational projects and services offered by schools before the pre-registration period for the 2026-2027 academic year begins.

Educational centers in La Seu d'Urgell and Castellciutat have scheduled open days during February and March to inform families prior to the pre-registration process for the 2026-2027 academic year.

All educational centers in the municipality of La Seu d'Urgell have scheduled their respective open days prior to the start of the pre-registration and enrollment process for the 2026-2027 academic year. The goal is to inform local families about the operation, services offered, and the specific educational project of each center.
Regarding primary education, Escola Pau Claris will be the first to open its doors, with school-time visits from March 18 to 27, requiring prior appointment. Escola Albert Vives organizes two guided tours on Saturday, February 28 (at 10 and 11:30 a.m.), including an informational meeting. Escola Castell-Ciutat also offers scheduled visits.
Col·legi La Salle will hold its open day dedicated to early childhood, primary, and ESO on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., preceded by an informational talk at 9:30 a.m. La Salle has also scheduled two open school days on March 4 and 6, and a specific session for Vocational Training Cycles and Nursery School on Saturday, April 18.
Concerning the institutes, Institut Joan Brudieu organizes ESO open days on Tuesday, February 24, in three evening sessions, with an informational meeting at 7:30 p.m. The sessions dedicated to Baccalaureate and Batxibac will be on Monday, March 23, and for Intermediate and Higher Grade Vocational Training Cycles, the day will be Tuesday, March 24. For its part, Institut La Valira will hold its open day on Thursday, February 19, with an informational meeting in the gym at 7:30 p.m.
The pre-registration process for early childhood and primary education (I3 to 6th grade) will take place from March 4 to 18. ESO applications can be submitted from March 6 to 18, and Baccalaureate applications from April 9 to 16. All pre-registrations will be electronic, and the Municipal Schooling Office (OME) of the La Seu d'Urgell City Council offers support for the procedure.
