The Official Gazette of the Government of Catalonia (DOGC) has announced the approval of two new justice office clusters in Ponts and El Pont de Suert, becoming the 75th and 76th in Catalonia, aiming to improve efficiency and available resources.

These new clusters, announced on Monday, April 13, 2026, represent a step forward in the organization of justice administration within the territory. Their creation will allow various municipal justice offices to unite under a single umbrella, while maintaining their operational autonomy and decision-making capacity on local matters.
The cluster model facilitates access to more resources and greater efficiency. Once established, the Department of Justice assigns specialized personnel —procedural managers with secretarial functions and judicial support staff— to the cluster's headquarters. These professionals will serve all justice offices in the municipalities that are part of the cluster.
The El Pont de Suert cluster will include the municipal justice offices (the former peace courts) of El Pont de Suert, La Vall de Boí, and Vilaller, all assigned to the judicial district of Tremp. Meanwhile, the Ponts cluster will integrate the offices of Ponts, La Baronia de Rialb, Bassella, Biosca, Oliana, Peramola, Sanaüja, Tiurana, Torà, and Vilanova de l'Aguda, which belong to the judicial district of Solsona.
