The director of the Institut Ramon Muntaner (IRMU) highlighted the event's success, both for the high participation of entities and the large attendance of the local public. These conferences have consolidated their position as an essential meeting point for athenaeums, study centers, and other organizations dedicated to local research and heritage.

It truly is a translation of the cultural community that makes up the Catalan-speaking territories and makes it evident for a few days in a specific territorial space, in this case in El Pont de Suert and La Ribagorçana."
Under the motto Weaving Cultural Community, this IRMU initiative saw the participation of over 200 entities from all Catalan-speaking territories. The program for the 22nd edition, with a special focus on the Pyrenees, included a wide variety of activities such as conferences, debates, audiovisual screenings, book presentations, exhibitions, and shows of great historical, cultural, and social interest.
RECERCAT is co-organized by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Coordinadora de Centres d'Estudis de Parla Catalana (CCEPC), and the Federació d'Ateneus de Catalunya (FAC). This edition received support from the CERIb (Centre d'Estudis Ribagorçans) and the El Pont de Suert City Council.
During the awards ceremony for the Recercat 2026 Awards, held on Saturday, May 9, at the Cinema Ribagorça in El Pont de Suert, it was announced that the 23rd edition of the conference will take place in Alcanar, from April 30 to May 2, 2027.
