The Generalitat Firefighters resumed efforts this morning to extinguish the forest fire in Senet, Alta Ribagorça, after ensuring the access area was safe.

Six ground crews from Bombers, originating from la Pobla de Segur, el Pont de Suert, the Forest Action Group (GRAF), and the Lleida Emergency Region, have been working since early morning to control the flames. Additionally, a water-bombing helicopter has joined the efforts to tackle the upper section of the fire.
According to the agents, the fire remains active but has not spread further in recent hours. However, the weather forecast predicting potential storms in the coming hours is causing concern among the personnel, as a pyrocumulus cloud could facilitate the spread of the flames.
