Five aerial units from the Firefighters are working from early morning to extinguish the forest fire declared on Friday in Senet, in the municipality of Vilaller, in Alta Ribagorça.

The fire, which remains active, has burned 37 hectares in a high mountain area characterized by its steepness and difficult access. Precisely because of these complex conditions, extinction efforts are concentrated mainly on aerial resources.
A second fire focus has been detected about 900 meters from the main one, which has reportedly affected an additional 7 hectares and also remains active. For now, the flames have not surpassed the established containment lines, designed to prevent, among other things, the fire from reaching the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park.
The Firefighters warn that the fire situation could continue for several more days.
