The Council of Alta Ribagorça has unveiled a new tourist passport featuring ten low-difficulty hiking itineraries along the 'Camins de Foc' (Paths of Fire), coinciding with the routes' tenth anniversary and the start of the local bonfire festival season.

The initiative, presented in Lleida, aims to highlight local traditions and promote hiking in the region. The 'Camins de Foc' connect villages to the sites where traditional bonfires are lit, a festival that begins this year in Durro on Friday and will continue for six weeks.
Pathways have been cleared and signage improved. The passport provides detailed information for each of the ten routes, including difficulty levels and explanations of the municipal bonfire traditions. Participants must stamp the passport with the typical bonfire symbol for each trail.
The first ten individuals to complete the passport and present it at local tourism offices will receive a magnet and a water bottle featuring the new 'Camins de Foc' logo as a gift.
The bonfire season will commence on June 20th in Senet, followed by June 23rd in Boí, Casós, El Pont de Suert, and Vilaller. In July, celebrations will continue in Barruera (July 4th), Erill la Vall (July 11th), Taüll (July 17th), and Pla de l'Ermita (July 24th), concluding the season on July 25th in Llesp.
