The objective of these grants is to facilitate access to culture for the municipality's youth and ensure equal opportunities. The guidelines consider culture as a tool for integration and the transmission of values.
Parents or legal guardians of children and adolescents registered in Calaf can apply for the grants. Requirements include not receiving other grants for the same purpose and the family unit having a net income per member equal to or less than the current IRSC (9,622.18 euros annually in 2026), with possible deductions for rent or mortgage.
In exceptional cases, Basic Social Services may consider granting the aid based on specific family or social circumstances, even if not all requirements are met.
The deadline for submitting applications is from October 8th to 20th, 2026, through the City Council's electronic office. Supporting documentation for the family and economic situation, such as the family book, housing receipts, and income statements, must be attached.
The resolution of the grants will take place between October 21st and 27th. The awarded amount, which can cover 35% or 65% of the activity cost, will be paid directly to the cultural entity. The beneficiary family will cover the difference and the cost of materials.
