The Casino de Calaf is set to host an intense cultural weekend featuring a performance of the iconic musical Rent on Friday 19 and a concert by the band Bratia on Saturday, December 20.

The first event takes place on Friday, December 19, at 7:30 p.m., with the arrival of Rent, one of the most emblematic contemporary musicals created by Jonathan Larson. This dynamic young version is performed by Manresa Teatre Musical (MTM), featuring a choral cast and a story that remains fully relevant today.
The following day, Saturday, December 20, also at 7:30 p.m., the final gala of the 2025 micro-text contest will be held. The event will conclude with a performance by the Barcelona-based band Bratia, led by Serbian double bassist Ivan Kovačević.

The Bratia band fuses the power of Balkan music, the vibrant energy of jazz manouche, and the intensity characteristic of gypsy music.

The Saturday evening event includes the option of enjoying a gastronomic tasting. Tickets for Rent are priced at 15 euros. For the Bratia concert, Casino members pay 12 euros (15 euros for non-members), with the tasting option costing 27 euros (30 euros for non-members). Tickets can be purchased in advance on the Casino de Calaf website.
