At 11:43 AM this morning, the 112 emergency phone received notification of the accident on the A-2 road, specifically in the section passing through el Bruc heading towards Lleida.

Five units of the Firefighters quickly deployed to the area to free the driver, who had become mechanically trapped inside the cabin following the rear-end collision.

Currently, the emergency services are also working to contain a fuel leak that occurred as a result of the impact between the two heavy vehicles.

The incident necessitated the complete closure of the road in the Lleida direction, leading to the establishment of signposted detours. Despite these measures, significant traffic congestion was reported between Collbató and el Bruc.
