The Els Prats de Rei City Council has opened the call for Equitable Mobility Grants for the 2026-2027 academic year, aimed at students pursuing post-compulsory studies outside the municipality who use public or private transport.

This initiative aims to support families and promote equal opportunities in accessing higher education. The grants are intended for students enrolled in Baccalaureate, Intermediate and Higher Vocational Training Cycles, artistic studies, design, sports, and university studies.
To be eligible, students must be registered residents of Els Prats de Rei from the start of the academic year, be enrolled in a public educational institution, and regularly use public or private transport for their daily commutes.
The awarding of grants will be based on a scoring system that considers the distance to the educational center, as well as economic, social, and family circumstances such as large families, single-parent families, functional diversity, or situations of vulnerability.
The deadline for submitting applications is November 16, 2026. Interested individuals can download the application form from the municipal website pratsderei.cat and preferably submit their application online through the electronic headquarters.
