The meeting, held at the Casa Llotja de Mar, was attended by Josep Santacreu and Xavier Badia, the Chamber's president in Anoia. The necessity of promoting Anoia as an industrial region was highlighted, lamenting the delay in executing essential projects such as the Urban Planning Master Plan for Economic Activity in the Conca d’Òdena (PDUAE).
The non-execution of key projects such as the PDUAE in Conca d’Òdena is halting the growth of industrial estates and hindering the arrival of new industry.
Anoia entrepreneurs also emphasized the mobility crisis affecting the Rodalies network. In this regard, they advocated for the transversal railway axis as a fundamental strategic infrastructure to improve the region's connectivity with Lleida and the Barcelona Metropolitan Area.
In the field of training, the expansion of the Institut Milà i Fontanals was requested to adapt vocational training cycles to the real needs of local businesses. Furthermore, the business community presented an innovative project for the regeneration of wastewater treatment plant water, aiming to allocate it to industrial processes and optimize territorial water management.
