An Anoia runner delivered an excellent performance at the Matheysins Sky Race, a prestigious skyrunning event in the French Alps, completing the course in 2 hours and 45 minutes.

The athlete from Anoia showcased a remarkable performance last weekend at the Matheysins Sky Race, one of the most renowned competitions on the international skyrunning circuit. This race, held in the French Alps starting from Saint-Honoré, is known for its high physical and technical demands. The route ascends to Tabor, at 2,389 meters of altitude, and features a particularly complex ridge with sections equipped with ropes and the presence of snow.
This year's edition saw a high concentration of elite runners, which further enhances the achieved result. Despite arriving at the race with limited recovery time in the preceding weeks, the Anoia runner was able to maintain a competitive pace and deliver a solid performance in an extremely challenging environment.
This success solidifies the athlete's strong form in high-level mountain races, reinforcing his presence in the most prominent events on the skyrunning calendar. The previous month, the athlete from Anoia had already secured a notable fourth place at the Madeira Island Ultra Trail.
