This cultural event will transform thirty municipalities in Central Catalonia, covering regions such as Bages, Solsonès, Segarra, Berguedà, and Anoia. Over several weekends, these locations will become vibrant stages where music, heritage, landscape, and gastronomy combine to offer a complete sensory experience.
Among the highlighted proposals is the performance of Mozart's Requiem by the Orquestra del Miracle and the Cor Francesc Valls. Additionally, the festival will pay tribute to organist Montserrat Torrent on her centenary. International presence will be marked by American lutenist Joel Frederiksen, who will bring his artistic vision to the event.
The program also emphasizes figures and spaces linked to Anoia. On May 16, the church of Santa Eulàlia de Berga will host the concert “Montserrat Torrent: 100 anys en un dia”, a tribute to the renowned Catalan organist, originally from Igualada.
A few days later, on May 24, the chapel of Puríssima Concepció de Pujalt will be the setting for “La rêveuse”, an original production that blends baroque repertoire with contemporary sounds. This performance will be complemented by a gastronomic experience featuring creations by chocolatier Lluc Crusellas and wine pairings from Celler d’Encús.
That same afternoon, the Cementiri Nou d’Igualada, designed by Enric Miralles, will be transformed into a scenic space for “Vetlla”, a three-hour musical and choreographic installation. This activity invites the public to an artistic reflection on death, understood as a transition to eternal sleep, with free entry and exit.
Finally, on May 30, the sanctuary of Miracle, in Riner, will host one of the festival's most significant events. The Orquestra del Miracle and the Cor Francesc Valls will perform Mozart's Requiem, and will premiere “Defalliment i coratge”, a piece by composer Pol Requesens, jointly commissioned by the festival and the Palau de la Música Catalana.
