President of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa, received the Igualada Hockey Club, accompanied by Mayor Marc Castells and councilwoman Patricia Illa, in an event held at the Palau de la Generalitat. During the meeting, the club presented the trophy won last June. The Minister of Sports of the Generalitat, Berni Álvarez, was also present.
The president highlighted the Igualada team as an example of constancy and effort in achieving goals. For his part, the mayor congratulated the players and the management team, emphasizing the happiness they brought to the city and their place in the hearts of its citizens. He added that Igualada aims to be a leader in quality of life and that, thanks to years of dedicated effort, it now also leads in sports and hockey.

The reception took place in the Saló Torres Garcia, with the trophy as the central element. The players presented the president with a team jersey. Subsequently, the president conversed with the players and the club's management. The event concluded with a family photograph in the orange tree courtyard and a guided tour of the Palau's noble floor for the Igualada delegation.
