The Abacus store in Igualada will host a round table discussion on Thursday, March 26th, to explore whether artificial intelligence is a threat or an opportunity for modern professionals.

Starting at 7:00 PM, the event is free and open to the public. Local organizations and media outlets such as Canal Taronja and anoiadiari.cat are collaborating to bring this essential technological debate to the Anoia region.
The panel features prominent figures including Xavier Herce (Nemeda), Jaume Balcells (TICAnoia), Dr. Marta Banqué (Anoia Health Consortium), Paula Arias (UEA), and Mar Martí from the Journalists' Association. The session will be moderated by journalist Toni Cortès.
The discussion aims to address how workers can adapt to new digital tools. The central question remains how to leverage the advantages of AI without compromising job security or the quality of professional services in the local community.
