The FineArt Igualada festival will hold its fourteenth edition from February 27 to March 22 in Igualada, focusing on social bonds and collective construction through art.

On Friday, February 27, the FineArt Igualada festival, organized by the Igualada Photographic Group and the City Council, will begin. The opening ceremony will take place at Cal Boyer, within the Leather Museum, featuring a guided tour of the exhibition Retratos de familia by Estela de Castro.

"We want to focus on the network we have woven over all these years and also give value to the role of volunteers."

Roger Mula · Festival Director
The event includes 35 exhibitions in 14 venues across Igualada. Director Ramon Muntané announced that Francesc Fàbregas's exhibition will feature photos from the recent concert for Palestine in Barcelona, in collaboration with Enderrock magazine.

"This is a festival that connects the city, culture, and people; it is a fully consolidated event."

Carme Riera · City Councilor for Culture
The festival maintains its local roots with the 75th Iberian Trofeu Pell and a tribute to Joan Tomàs Tomàs. Alongside the galleries, 36 parallel activities such as workshops, talks, and dance performances will run until March 22.
