The non-profit organization Fira Igualada is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2026, marking three-quarters of a century as a vital economic and social driver for the capital of Anoia.

Established in 1951, the entity held its first public event on Three Kings' Day in 1952. Today, it manages nearly twenty annual events, including the Three Kings Fair, FirAnoia, and the gastronomic festival Tasta'm, which attract thousands of visitors to the region.
The main commemorative event is scheduled for June 4th at the Ateneu Municipal Theatre. This gala will bring together exhibitors and collaborators to honor the history of an institution that has become a cornerstone of the local business community.
Historical tributes will also include a photography exhibition at Espai Igualadiníssim in March, followed by an autumn showcase of archival materials such as vintage posters and programs documenting the evolution of trade fairs in Igualada.
