The Igualada City Council has launched its 2026 grant program, offering a total of 519,100 euros to non-profit organizations working on public interest projects within the municipality.

Councilor Miquel Vives announced that the new call focuses on reducing red tape through simplified templates. A key requirement for applicants this year is the promotion of the Catalan language, which has been integrated as a fundamental criterion in the selection process.

"This year's call stands out for three major innovations. Firstly, a real administrative simplification has been implemented through new template models that drastically reduce bureaucracy."
