Athlete Júlia Solé from Club Atlètic Igualada Petromiralles has been called up by the RFEA to represent Spain at the World University Cross Country Championships in Italy.

The international event will take place on March 14 and 15 in Cassino. Solé will compete in the women's Long Cross category, covering a 10 km distance. She is one of only three Catalan athletes selected for the 16-member national squad.
Trained at the CAI Sports School, Solé recently secured the Spanish cross country team title with the Catalan national team in Almodóvar del Río. She also earned a silver medal in the individual Catalan championships held in Olot.
Her recent achievements also include a bronze medal in the 3,000m event at the Catalan Short Track Championships in Sabadell, confirming her excellent form ahead of the world stage.
