Igualada Rigat secured their place in the Copa del Rey semifinals this Friday after defeating CP Voltregà 2-1 in a thrilling match at the Ateneu Agrícola arena.

The Anoia-based club ended a nine-year wait to return to the final four of the competition. The victory was built on defensive consistency and clinical finishing during a high-pressure game in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.
Biel Llanes opened the scoring in the 7th minute during a power play, but Voltregà responded quickly through Arnau Canal. However, Miguel Cañadillas restored the lead for Igualada before halftime with what proved to be the winning goal.
Goalkeeper Arnau Martínez played a crucial role in the second half, saving a key direct hit. Despite late pressure from Voltregà, including a shot that hit the crossbar, Igualada held on to celebrate a historic qualification with their traveling fans.
