Igualada Rigat has secured a spot in the OK Lliga semi-finals by defeating Voltregà 3-2 on penalties, in a match held at the Les Comes arena.

The Les Comes arena witnessed a night of excitement as Igualada Rigat clinched their place in the OK Lliga semi-finals. The home team overcame Voltregà with a narrow 3-2 victory in a penalty shootout, after the score remained goalless through regulation time and overtime.
Goals from Roger Bars, Joel Roma, and Biel Llanes from the penalty spot were decisive for the Igualada team's victory. The outstanding performance of goalkeeper Arnau Martínez, who saved two penalties during the match and three more in the final shootout, was key to securing the win.
The atmosphere in the arena was exceptional, with nearly a thousand spectators cheering on the team on a weekday. Around a hundred supporters from Voltregà also travelled to Igualada.
Security measures, including the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) and private security, were in place to prevent incidents between the fan bases, which were limited to verbal altercations. The only notable incident involved a Voltregà supporter throwing a chair onto the rink after a disallowed goal.
In the semi-finals, Igualada will face Barça, who also needed a third game to eliminate Noia Freixenet. The other semi-final will be contested between Liceo from A Coruña and Calafell.
