Lawyer Joan Laporta and musician David Carabén will meet next Thursday, March 5th, in Igualada to discuss the current state and future projects of FC Barcelona.

The event will take place at the Ateneu Municipal Theater at 7:30 PM, organized by local media from the Anoia region. This talk happens just before the club's presidential elections scheduled for March 15th.
David Carabén, leader of the band Mishima, will host the conversation. Carabén has deep roots in the club; his father, Armand Carabén, was the general manager in the 1970s and played a vital role in signing Johan Cruyff.
Laporta, who served as president from 2003 to 2010 and again since 2021, stepped down on February 9th to run for re-election. His tenure is noted for major sporting titles and the Espai Barça infrastructure project.
