Emergency services were alerted at 3:30 PM regarding an incident at a warehouse on Manel Valls street in Òdena. The victim, described as an older male, was found inside the premises of the textile firm where the fatal event occurred.

Units from the Fire Brigade, Mossos d'Esquadra, and the Emergency Medical Service (SEM) responded to the scene, including a medicalized helicopter. Despite their efforts, they were unable to save the man, who died on the spot.

Official sources confirmed that the death is not being investigated as a workplace accident because there was no professional link between the victim and the company. Reports suggest the man may have been a relative of someone working at the factory.
