The works involve the complete removal of four roundabouts located on Països Catalans and Europa avenues. According to the opposition leader Jordi Cuadras, these structures were fully functional and did not require a total reconstruction.

Councilor Irene Gil emphasized that residents are demanding better road safety rather than new landscaping. The PSC argues that resources should be directed towards repairing damaged sidewalks and paving streets instead of aesthetic projects.
