The fires declared in Sentmenat, Artesa de Segre, and Carme have put maximum strain on emergency services. This situation added to the control tasks still being carried out in the Gavarres area, in the Baix Empordà.
The fire in the Vallès Occidental was one of the most critical points. According to data from the Agents Rurals, the fire has affected approximately 90 hectares, with a much higher expansion potential. Efforts focused on preventing the flames from reaching nearby residential areas and the Sant Llorenç del Munt natural space.
In the Anoia region, the fire that started in the municipality of Carme led to the expansion of confinement orders. Security measures affected several population centers, including areas of Igualada, la Pobla de Claramunt, Vilanova del Camí, Santa Margarida de Montbui, and Castellolí.
Finally, in the Noguera region, firefighting teams managed to stabilize a fire north of Artesa de Segre, near Comiols. The fire, which originated in an agricultural area, had spread to the forest mass before being brought under control late in the afternoon.
