Woman evacuated in Calaf after wall collapses due to high winds

A woman was evacuated from her home in Calaf, Anoia, after a wall of her property collapsed this Friday afternoon due to extreme wind conditions.

The incident occurred at Avinguda de la Pau around 3:00 PM. Part of the roof terrace wall fell onto a nearby garage roof in Portelles de Sant Jaume street, damaging several vehicles.
The Generalitat Firefighters and municipal technicians from Calaf City Council are assessing the structural integrity of the building to decide if repairs or demolition are required.
