The city of Igualada is hosting a weekend full of family and Christmas activities in the Plaça de l'Ajuntament, including the Tió log and the Pastorets show, throughout Saturday and Sunday 14.

Activities start on Saturday at 12 p.m. with the musical show “Gresca nadalenca” in the Plaça de l’Ajuntament (Town Hall Square). In the afternoon, between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., attendees can enjoy ingenuity and logic games.
One of the most anticipated moments will be the Tió log ceremony (cagada del Tió), taking place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This activity will feature Camagroc, Liana, and Arrel, three characters who will tell the story “Els secrets del bosc” (The Secrets of the Forest). To participate, a free ticket must be collected at the wooden house of the Associació de Festes del Barri de la Font Vella, located at the Fira de Santa Llúcia (Plaça de Pius XII). Tickets are distributed on Friday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until supplies run out.
On Sunday 14, the day begins at 10:30 a.m. with the itinerant show “Bici-maton nadalenc,” a mobile photo booth that will tour the center of Igualada before returning to the square around 1:30 p.m. At 11 a.m., children can participate in the craft workshop “Decora el teu mini avet de Nadal” (Decorate your mini Christmas tree).
The weekend concludes at 12 p.m. with the humorous theatrical show “Per un dimoni tens por! Aquí t’espero” (For a devil you are afraid! I'm waiting for you here), performed by the Pastorets d’Igualada. The play promises a fun version featuring confused devils and shepherds and angels with misplaced wings.
