Els Pastorets d’Igualada closes season with actors Marc Tarrida and Biel Rossell

The final performance of the season, scheduled for Sunday, January 11, will feature two renowned local talents in the roles of Lluquet and Rovelló.

The Els Pastorets d’Igualada production will conclude its season on Sunday, January 11, at the Teatre Municipal l’Ateneu, featuring the stellar participation of local actors Marc Tarrida Aribau and Biel Rossell Pelfort.

Actor Marc Tarrida Aribau, a graduate of the Institut del Teatre, is recognized for his solid career in the contemporary Catalan scene. He has participated in notable productions at the Teatre Lliure such as El quadern daurat, Set nenes jueves, and Els criminals. He is also a co-founder of the company Dúo Fàcil. In the audiovisual field, he appeared in the series Com si fos ahir and currently stars in Ets i uts, a 3Cat production focused on Catalan language dissemination.
Meanwhile, Biel Rossell Pelfort, trained in Igualada and later at the Laura Jou studio, debuted as a lead in cinema with La vida sense la Sara Amat. His audiovisual career includes series like Cucut, Jo Mai Mai, and the acclaimed La Mesías from Movistar+, a role that earned him a nomination for the Premios Feroz. Furthermore, he has maintained a constant stage presence at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya (TNC) in productions like La festa and Amnèsia, and is awaiting the premiere of the series Zoomers for Prime Video.
This final performance aims to be a celebration of local talent and highlights the role of Els Pastorets d’Igualada as a training ground for actors. The production mobilizes nearly a hundred participants annually, including actors, technical, and artistic staff, consolidating itself as a show that combines tradition, scenic renewal, and deep roots in the city.
