The incident occurred around kilometer 560 of the A-2, heading towards Lleida. Several Firefighter units quickly traveled to the scene to begin the extrication tasks for the driver, who was immobilized inside the truck.

The rescue operation was complex due to the deformation of the heavy vehicle's cabin. Personnel used specialized equipment to free the man, who was subsequently treated by medical services from the Medical Emergency System (SEM).

Although the truck driver's condition was not specified as serious, he was transferred to a hospital for a more thorough evaluation. The accident caused significant traffic delays on the highway while the Mossos d'Esquadra regulated traffic and investigated the causes of the incident.
