The Investigation Unit of the Igualada police station arrested a 20-year-old woman and four minors (three boys and one girl aged between 15 and 17) for the assault that occurred on December 20 last year.
The incident took place in the area of Parc Central d’Igualada, between four and five in the morning. The victims, also minors, suffered significant injuries requiring their transfer to various hospitals.
One of the assaulted adolescents suffered serious fractures and required surgical interventions. The Mossos initiated an investigation to determine the timeline and identify the perpetrators, a process that culminated on January 20 with the arrests.
The adult woman will be brought before the Igualada court, while the four minors have already been placed at the disposal of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office (Fiscalia de Menors).
