The Igualada City Council has launched a new edition of Igualada Slow Shopping, taking place from November 2nd to 8th, aiming to encourage shopping at local businesses and increase their visibility.

For seven days, the city will promote its commercial fabric with a campaign inviting citizens to discover the variety of products and services offered by Igualada's establishments. Igualada Slow Shopping is consolidating itself as a revitalization initiative that advocates for a closer, calmer, and more personalized way of shopping, strengthening the bond between customers and shops.
This autumn edition coincides with the days leading up to the Rec.0 event, seeking to leverage the commercial activity it generates to attract visitors to the city's shops.
As in previous editions, the campaign includes a raffle to reward customer loyalty. This year, participants can win a hot air balloon ride, 10 double tickets for Cinema Ateneu, 10 for Teatre de l’Aurora, and 10 for Pastorets d’Igualada. This way, proximity shopping is linked with cultural and leisure experiences in the city.
The initiative maintains its commitment to the digital format through the website www.igualadaslowshopping.cat, a mobile-friendly platform that allows users to consult participating establishments on a map, locate them, and find out about promotions. This tool serves as a digital showcase for local commerce.
Businesses interested in participating in the campaign can now register via the website www.comerçigualada.cat. The Igualada City Council continues to support actions that foster commercial activity and reinforce the role of proximity commerce as an essential element for the city's economic and social vitality.
