Youth Councillor Carlota Carner detailed the initiative, emphasizing that the goal is to foster participation, creativity, and youth well-being through this wide range of options, which span from training workshops to leisure and sports proposals.
“"It is a range of 58 proposals designed to offer spaces for meeting, learning, and leisure for the city's youth."
Regarding educational support, the semester's program expands resources for students by adding a fourth support group to meet high demand. The English language offering is also consolidated, including basic level and preparation for the First Certificate, alongside Catalan promotion through the “Activa’t amb el català” activity in collaboration with the CPNL and APLEC.
Focusing on emotional well-being, specialized services such as “La Konsulta” and the “Ocell de Foc” program are maintained. Furthermore, the popular self-knowledge and emotional management workshop utilizing therapy dogs is scheduled again.
The facilities La Kaserna and Cal Badia will host diverse workshops, including barbering, yoga, K-pop dance, flamenco guitar (in collaboration with the ECMMI), and sports challenges. Registration for the spring program is already open online, while the registration period for summer activities will commence on April 14.
