Amed accreditation certificate for healthy eating in an institutional setting.

The restaurants La Ginesta and MenjaB, located in the CSSI residential centers ViuB1 and ViuB2 in Igualada, were granted the Amed accreditation last Thursday for promoting a healthy lifestyle.

The sticker and certificate were delivered to La Ginesta manager, Joana Escalera, the ViuB1 residential coordinator, Francesc Vidal, and the MenjaB manager, Karmen Justribó.

To make visible establishments that promote a healthy diet and lifestyle.

The accreditations were presented by the head of the Public Health Service in Anoia, Ester Ibáñez. With these two new additions, the city of Igualada now has a total of 13 establishments holding the Amed recognition.
These new accreditations join those already held by other centers of the Consorci Sociosanitari d’Igualada (CSSI), such as the Pare Vilaseca Residence and Day Center, the Montserrat Day Center, and the Sant Jordi Day Hospital. It is worth noting that the La Ginesta and MenjaB restaurants offer their services to both residents and the general public.
