The Hospital Universitari d'Igualada of the Consorci Sanitari de l'Anoia (CSA) has been awarded the Top 20 Prize in the Pediatrics area, within the first-level hospital category.

The healthcare center was also a finalist in the women's area and global hospital management categories. These awards are given by the health indicator analysis company IQVIA, recognizing centers with the best results in quality of care, efficiency, and clinical management among over 200 public and private hospitals nationwide.
The award ceremony took place on Thursday, October 15th in Madrid. Representing the Pediatrics Area of the Hospital Universitari d'Igualada, the award was received by Dr. Míriam Fernández, head of the Pediatrics service; Dr. Marta Cucurell, head of the Medical Area of the CSA; and Mr. Àlex Aragon, head of Management Control at the Consorci Sanitari de l'Anoia.
Last year, the Hospital Universitari d'Igualada had already won the Top 20 award in the Women's and Digestive areas, in the third and second-level hospital categories, respectively.
With over 25 years of history, the Top 20 Awards recognize hospitals with the best results in health, quality, and efficiency, based on routinely collected data. In addition to public recognition, participating centers receive a comparative report (benchmark) to identify improvement opportunities.
