La Llacuna is preparing to host the 18th edition of the High Altitude Wine Fair on October 17th and 18th, an event celebrating local wines, proximity products, and heritage with a comprehensive program of activities.

The La Llacuna City Council, supported by Anoia Turisme and the Barcelona Provincial Council, organizes this established event promising a weekend filled with gastronomy, wine, music, and culture to enjoy the municipality.
Activities commence on Saturday, October 17th, at 7 PM at Cal Magí Ferriol. The opening day includes a wine tasting featuring wines from the Les Iaies winery and Màger beer, accompanied by a tasting of local products. The evening will also feature ambient music by DJ Balada, a glassblowing demonstration by Ferran Collado, and the presentation of a lamb from Cal Magí Ferriol.
Saturday evening culminates at 8 PM with a jazz concert by the Josa Jazz Band, a youth jazz and modern music ensemble linked to the Josa - Jove Orquestra Simfònica de l’Anoia.
On Sunday, October 18th, from 10:30 AM to 2 PM, Plaça Major will be the heart of the Fair. Various local wineries and producers will showcase their offerings. Wines from Les Iaies, Vilademàger, Can Vich, Clos-Costela, and Segura-Viudas will be present, alongside Màger beer. The gastronomic selection is completed by Embotits Can Travè, Mallart Artesans Xarcuters, Pastisseria Forn Pujó, Mel de La Llacuna honey, and Formatges Sant Gil d’Albió cheeses. Tickets and glasses can be purchased at the City Council's tent.
Sunday's program also includes family-friendly activities. From 11 AM to 2 PM, Plaça Major will host a wine painting workshop led by Marta Araño and a ceramics workshop conducted by Mari Gumà.
Additionally, at 11 AM, a guided tour titled “Coneix La Llacuna” (Discover La Llacuna) will depart from Plaça Major, offering a chance to explore the municipality's heritage and attractions.
Through this 18th edition, La Llacuna reaffirms its winemaking tradition and the value of local products, presenting a weekend offering that blends enogastronomy, heritage, culture, and family activities.
