On September 20th, the city of Igualada hosted the Gathering of 'Hereus i Pubilles' from the municipalities of Anoia. The event, part of the Fira d’Igualada, brought together child representatives from various towns in the region for a day of fellowship and tradition.
The day began with a reception for the representative pairs at the Igualada Town Hall, where official photographs were taken and commemorative medals were presented. Subsequently, participants received institutional greetings and took part in a parade through the city streets, accompanied by the traditional 'bestiari' (animal figures) from the participating municipalities.
Representing La Torre de Claramunt were the 'Hereu', Quim Garcia, and the 'Pubilla', Adara Franco. They actively participated in this gathering of fellowship, tradition, and coexistence with the other representatives from the region.
The Town Council of La Torre de Claramunt has congratulated Quim Garcia and Adara Franco for their participation and thanked them for their commitment as representatives of the municipality in a gathering that contributes to preserving and promoting Catalan popular traditions.
