The Òdena City Council has finalized maintenance and improvement works on the municipality's network of forest tracks and paths, as part of the Forest Fire Prevention Plan (PPI) promoted by the Barcelona Provincial Council. This year, 11.29 km of routes have been repaired.

The actions focused on four sections: Can Macià to Bosc Gran via Ca n’Aguilera de la Costa (4.40 km), Obaga d’Aguilera (2.80 km), Puig d’Aguilera (2.71 km), and Morera de Can Macià to the C-37, pk. 72 (1.38 km). In each section, the track surface was maintained, and the auxiliary traffic strip, which includes adjacent vegetation to slow fire spread and facilitate the passage of firefighting vehicles, was also tended to.
The total cost of the project was €19,223.10. The Barcelona Provincial Council subsidized 95% of this investment, contributing €18,261.95.
The City Council emphasizes that fire prevention is a collective effort and that maintaining these paths is a key tool for reducing the risk of forest fires in the municipality.
