The exhibition, which opened last Friday, offers a personal view of the Caribbean island through Hidalgo's lens. The opening event was attended by the First Deputy Mayor for Social Action, Coral Vázquez, the artist himself, and numerous guests.
The selection of images captures landscapes, street scenes, and portraits of daily life taken during a twelve-day trip across Cuba. Hidalgo presents a visual journey that brings visitors closer to the country's reality from his photographic perspective.
“"Through his camera, Hidalgo offers a personal look at Cuba, allowing visitors to connect with the country's reality and discover various aspects through his experience and photographic perspective."
Manuel Hidalgo is a well-regarded photographer with extensive experience in photography and photojournalism. Through this exhibition, the author shares with the public a collection of snapshots reflecting his experiences and impressions gathered during his trip to the island.
