The Government of Catalonia has planned an investment of 63.1 million euros for the High Pyrenees and Aran in 2026, marking a 49% increase from previous accounts.

Road infrastructure is the main priority, receiving 16 million euros. Other significant allocations include 12.6 million for waste treatment centers and 8.9 million for tourism promotion, focusing on ski resorts such as Baqueira Beret surroundings and Boí Taüll.
The Cerdanya and Alt Urgell regions will receive the highest funding with 16.8 million euros each. In Aran, the budget includes 1.9 million euros for road maintenance, complemented by a specific funding agreement to strengthen local self-government.

"The funding agreement will allow an increase of almost 4 million euros in current financing, essential for securing Aran's autonomy."
