The accident took place around 9:00 PM at kilometer 147 in the Salenques area. The victim's car collided with a truck, causing the vehicle to overturn several times. The truck driver was unharmed, but Ortiz was trapped inside and pronounced dead at the scene.
His 13-year-old daughter survived the impact and was rushed to the Espitau Val d'Aran with severe injuries. The Guardia Civil is currently investigating the causes of the crash in the border region between Aragon and Catalonia.
