Aran Salut has launched several initiatives to mitigate the effects of high temperatures in healthcare facilities in the Aran Valley, enhancing comfort for patients and professionals.

In response to the episode of high temperatures recorded this summer, Aran Salut has initiated actions to improve comfort in healthcare facilities. As a first step, portable air conditioning units will be installed in consultation rooms, prioritizing spaces where this solution is most effective due to their size. This will help reduce the ambient temperature during the hottest hours.
In the Emergency area, a fan coil unit will be installed in the central corridor of the cubicles to enhance cooling capacity. In the waiting room, large capacity fans will be placed to promote air circulation and increase the feeling of thermal comfort for users.
In the medium term, Aran Salut is working on structural solutions. The new CAP in Vielha, currently in the processing phase, will incorporate an integrated air conditioning system. Concurrently, a project is being drafted for a definitive air conditioning solution for the Hospitalization area of the current building.
These actions reflect Aran Salut's commitment to improving its facilities and adopting technically viable measures to provide more comfortable and safer healthcare spaces.
