Aran Salut has launched the sending of satisfaction surveys to patients at the Val d'Aran Hospital via WhatsApp, seeking to improve the quality of care received.

This new channel aims to collect the experience and opinions of users of the healthcare services in the Val d'Aran to understand their needs and expectations firsthand. Historically, hospitals have used phone calls or emails, methods that record response rates below 15%.
The transition to WhatsApp responds to the need to connect with patients through their most used communication channel. The contact number has been updated to 973643145. Once the message is received, the user can access the survey, available in Aranese, Spanish, and Catalan, and complete it in a short time.
Key advantages of this WhatsApp evaluation in the healthcare sector include opening rates above 98%, real-time crisis management with automatic alerts to the quality team, optimization of administrative staff time, and continuous improvement based on immediate data regarding treatment, waiting times, and cleanliness.

"Patient care doesn't end when they leave the hospital. WhatsApp allows us to open a direct, human, and non-invasive channel. By receiving the survey on their phones, patients respond with complete honesty and in less than a minute, giving us an accurate snapshot of our daily work."
