The mayor of Lleida, Fèlix Larrosa, met with representatives of the Templers-Escorxador Neighborhood Association, led by president Marisa Arias, to discuss mobility and accessibility improvements in the area.
Firstly, La Paeria will launch a participatory process to present potential changes in street directions within the neighborhood to residents. This initiative will be managed by the Department of Participation before the end of the year.
Secondly, residents were informed about the tender for the renovation of the elevator in Plaça de l'Escorxador. This facility allows overcoming the elevation difference of La Serreta to Carrer Doctor Combelles. The project is part of a larger initiative to replace and improve urban accessibility elements that frequently break down.
The meeting was also attended by the deputy mayor responsible for Mobility, Cristina Morón, and the councilor for the neighborhood, Pilar Bosch.
